I have a deep yearning to be in a community that is engaged on both fronts. A community committed to personal transformation as well as social and structural change. A community that understands that we need to work on healing our traumas and transforming our relationships.

Kazu Haga

Hi :)

I’d never imagined I’d be spending my 25th birthday in a pandemic. But in many ways, this is far more than I could have ever imagined. Because I get to host, WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE.

WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE is a ~1-hr curated virtual experience, diving into 6 themes I’ve felt deeply this year: Courage. Power. Vulnerability. Healing. Hope. Love.

It's a program, performance, and experience, all wrapped into one. A way to hold space, in a creative way, with so many different who have touched my life in various beautiful ways.

All you need to bring is yourself, a journal & things to write with. And dress-up if your heart desires!

See you there :)

5 THEMES

Courage

"Courage comes from latin word cor, which means heart. In earliest forms, meant to speak one’s mind by telling all of one’s heart."

                                                                       Osho

Power

“Power, properly understood, is the ability to achieve purpose.”

                                                                        MLK

Vulnerability

"If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path."

                                                         Brene Brown

Healing

“Hurt people hurt people, and hurting people hurts. Healed people heal people, and healing people heals.”

                                                              Kazu Haga

Hope

"Hope locates itself in the premises that we don’t know what will happen and that in the spaciousness of uncertainty is room to act."                                                          Rebecca Solnit

Love

“The will to extend one's self for the purpose of nurturing one's own or another's spiritual growth.”                                                                                                                           M. Scott Peck

"

All of our experiences, traumas, and life lessons are influenced by countless people we will never know. If our traumas are interconnected and interdependent, then so must be our healing and liberation.
